I manage a small apartment building and the owner used them to do some kitchen renovations. I cannot speak to what issues/communication problems there was between them but for me I found the following:
1) messes everywhere including food wrappers on the window sill in a stairwell, cigarette, rolling papers in the driveway and other materials on the ground (outside, stairwell, hallways).
2) arrived late everyday
3) went into my garage to use chairs and a bucket without asking.
